LEVICK’s Washington, DC office has an opening for an Account Executive/Senior Account Executive position. LEVICK’s Account Executives and Senior Account Executives are deeply involved in client accounts and play a major role in ensuring our clients receive outstanding service.


A successful candidate will thrive under pressure and understand and meet client needs. Excellent media relations and writing skills are a must, as is a need for attention to detail.


Due to the pandemic, our employees are currently working remotely.


Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of communications experience, preferably some agency experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations or communications
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience writing across different formats – blogs, op-eds, press releases, web content, etc.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and projects at once in a high-stakes environment
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day client relationships and the associated workflow
  • Write public relations and public affairs materials
  • Identify and pitch media and respond to media inquiries, cultivate relationships with journalists
  • Work with account managers to develop communications strategies and oversee their implementation
  • Assist in graphic design for proposals, internal documents, website and social media
  • Collaborate with team members to create strategies and tactics for clients
  • Develop background research to prepare leadership for new business opportunities
  • Produce quality written work in a short amount of time with few errors
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of various social media, and media monitoring, platforms
